Wild West Cowboys

Location: Canyon Ranch, Big Horn Wyoming and Sheridan, Wyoming

These images take the viewer somewhere between time and a scene from a film or a past life in the Wild West itself. Through Filbert’s travels, he had the privilege to shoot at the Canyon Ranch, owned by Paul and Sandra Wallop, which is known for its long rich history along with family relations to the British Royal Family. Along this journey out Filbert has found inspiration in the Cowboy way, and capturing the emotion of these very cowboys.

Location: Wyoming, Big Horn Equestrian Center

Filbert’s personal creative work comes from his travels, and in his dreams. Most recently, he has found Wyoming as a creative escape, and a place where he can create without boundaries. “Wyoming Cheyenne” is one of his most recent creative editorials from the great cowboy state. Filbert’s ability to capture emotion and depth in his work can be seen very strongly in these images from the darkening skies to the gaze of the model to the viewer.
